Wild cucumber
Echinocystis lobata (Michx.) T. + G.
Plant Description:
- Climbing succulent growing up to 6 m long
- Climbs and wraps itself around other plants with its tendrils
- Leaves are deeply lobed about 3 times and are thin and light green
- Numerous, very small white-green flowers
- Fruits are softly prickly, very fleshy and green
- Found in wet areas such as marshes
- Found at Stops 3 and 6
