Poison-ivy
Rhus radicans L. var. rydbergii (Small) Rehder
Plant Description:
- Single-stemmed, upright plant growing up to 30 cm tall
- Leaves made up of 3 large, bright green, strongly veined leaflets
- White to yellow flowers
- Dull white berries for fruit
- Causes severe skin rashes in some people
- Occurs in ravines, moist areas and open-forests
- Found at Stop 1 - on the Interpretive Nature Trail and Hiking Trail
