Philadelphia fleabane
Erigeron philadelphicus L.
Plant Description:
- Slender, upright, hairy stemmed plant growing up to 60 cm tall
- Lower leaves are spoon-shaped while upper leaves are sword-shaped
- Flowers are at the ends of the stems; made of white or pink narrow ray florets with yellow disc florets
- Occurs in wet areas, open-forests, and open prairies
- Found at Stop 8
