Ox-eye daisy
Chrysanthemum leucanthemum L.
Plant Description:
- Upright daisy, growing up to 60 cm high
- Heads borne singly at the top of the stem
- Yellow disc florets and white ray florets
- Introduced; found in meadows and moist roadsides
- Used to treat sore eyes and to stop bleeding of bladders and ulcers
- Is saturated with a bitter juice that repels insects
- Found near Stop 6
