Zizia aptera (Gray) Fern.
Plant Description:
- Upright plant growing up to 60 cm tall
- Heart-shaped lower leaves and upper stem leaves are divided 3 times into egg-shaped leaflets
- Yellow flowers form an umbrella shape
- Found in moist areas and in open-forests
- Found at Stop 1 - on the Interpretive Nature Trail
