Liatris punctata Hook.
Plant Description:
- Widespread, dry prairie plant that grows from a thick, woody root; growing up to 30 cm tall
- Rigid, sword-shaped leaves, bordered by fine hairs; leaves look like they are covered in dots
- A very notieable, dense spike of pink-purple flowers
- Found at Stops 1, 4, 9 and 11
