Plant Description:
- Hairy, straight and rough-stemmed plant growing up to 60 cm tall
- Leaves are round-bottomed, narrowing to a rounded point at the tip.
- Lower leaves are stalked while upper ones are smaller and stalkless
- Yellow ray flowers surrounding a dark brown centre; one flower per stalk
- Widespread, dry prairie plant
- Found at Stop 1
