Ascending purple milk-vetch
Astragalus striatus Nutt.
Plant Description:
- Several to many ascending stems, growing up to 40 cm high
- Leaves with up to 20 hairy leaflets
- Dense inflorescence with long, hairy, purple flowers
- Occurs on open-grasslands and slopes
- Found at Stop 1 - on Interpretive Nature Trail, and Stop 2
