Wolfwillow or Silverberry
Elaeagnus commutata Bernh.
Plant Description:
- Shrubs growing 2 to 5 m high
- Leaves are silvery and rough on both sides
- Yellowish flowers form clusters of 2 or 3
- Fruit is oval and silvery
- Found on sandy soils and soils; tends to take over in over-grazed pastures
- Found at Stops 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11
