Plant Description:

• Prairie plant growing up to 50 cm tall
• White hairs covering the plant turn red as the plant ages
• Good grazing plant as it maintains a high protein and mineral content through winter
• Found on dry, sandy slopes and prairies
• Found at Stops 1and 2
