Plant Description:

  • Upright, conspicous mint growing up to 1 m tall
  • Leaves are opposite from each other and round bottomed which narrow to a point at the tip
  • Very noticeable, hairy, purple-pink flowers at the stem top
  • Gives off an aromatic fragrance
  • Widespread along roadsides, dry prairies, meadows and slopes
  • Found at Stops 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 11
