Viola rugulosa Greene
Plant Description:
- Widespread, moist, woodland species
- Heart-shaped leaves come to a point on long stalks
- White flowers with pink or purple veins
- Leaves, when soaked in water, can be applied to treat sores
- Tea can be used to help in relaxation and sleep
- Found at Stop 1 - on the Interpretive Nature and Hiking Trails
