Tufted fleabane
Erigeron caespitosus Nutt.
Plant Description:
- Many-stemmed, upright plant growing up to 20 cm tall
- Lightly hairy, sword-shaped leaves, decreasing in size as they grow further up the stem
- Each stem ends in a flower head of yellow disc florets and skinny white ray florets
- Widespread in dry prairies and on slopes
- Found at Stops 1 and 2
