Plant Description:

• Round-topped shrub, growing 1 to 3 m tall with thorns about 1 inch long
• Leaves rounded with toothed edges
• White flowers found in clusters at ends of branches
• Red berry-like fruits
• Found along stream banks and open-woods
• Found at Stop 1 - on the Interpretive Nature Trail, and at Stops 5, 6, 8, 11, and 12
