Plant Description:

  • Many-stemmed, upright, prairie flower growing up to 50 cm tall
  • Leaves consist of up to 7 very small leaflets
  • Dense cluster of purple flowers on a cone
  • Occurs on dry prairie and on slopes
  • Found at Stops 1, 2, 7, and 9
