Grindelia squarrosa (Pursh) Dunal
Plant Description:
- Many-branched, widespread, dry prairie plant
- Grows up to 60 cm tall
- Many yellow flower heads with very sticky, gummy bracts just underneath
- Before flowers open, the heads are very sticky or gluey
- Occurs along roadsides and disturbed sites
- Found at Stops 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, and 10
