Golden dock
Rumex maritimus L. var. fueginus (Phil.) Dusen
Plant Description:
- Highly branched plant growing up to 60 cm tall
- Leaves are long and sword-shaped
- Greenish-brown flowers are in dense clusters along the stem
- Occurs in wet areas, usually in salty soil conditions
- Can cause skin irritation and should not be eaten as it will irritate the kidneys
- The leaves contain a poisonous acid
- Found Stops 1, 3, and 8
