Compact groundsel
Senecio tridenticulatus Rydb.
Plant Description:
- Short, skinny, plant with a hairy base, growing up to 30 cm tall
- Bottom leaves have toothed edges on a stalk
- Upper leaves are sword-shaped with no stalks
- Yellow ray florets make up the crowded flower heads
- Found mostly in moist areas and in open-forests
- Cattle does not like to eat this plant - which is good, as it is poisonous
- Found at Stops 1 and 2
