Common pepper-grass
Lepidium densiflorum Schrad.

 

Plant Description:

  • Widespread, prairie plant with a many-branched stem growing up to 50 cm tall
  • Basal leaves are divided and upper leaves are sword-shaped
  • Very small flowers
  • Heart-shaped pods
  • Occurs in moist areas, disturbed sites and in ditches
  • Found at Stops 3, 4, 5, 7, and 9
