Canada thistle
Cirsium arvense (L.) Scop.
Plant Description:
- Very widespread, introduced weed, growing up to 1 m tall
- Numerous flower heads that have a feathery appearance with large bracts underneath
- Leaves are largely dissected and are prickly
- Found along roadsides, wet areas, and disturbed sites
- Found at Stops 1 through 12
