Plant Description:

  • Very widespread, introduced weed, growing up to 1 m tall
  • Numerous flower heads that have a feathery appearance with large bracts underneath
  • Leaves are largely dissected and are prickly
  • Found along roadsides, wet areas, and disturbed sites
  • Found at Stops 1 through 12
