Bull thistle
Cirsium vulgare (Savi) Tenore
Plant Description:
- Introduced plant, seen on disturbed sites and along field edges
- Tough, wooly, much-branched, leafy plant growing up to 150 cm tall
- Green, dissected, prickly, hairy leaves
- Many purple flowers surrounded by spine-tipped bracts
- Found at Stop 7
