Plant Description:

  • Slender, upright, hairy stemmed plant growing up to 60 cm tall
  • Lower leaves are spoon-shaped while upper leaves are sword-shaped
  • Flowers are at the ends of the stems; made of white or pink narrow ray florets with yellow disc florets
  • Occurs in wet areas, open-forests, and open prairies
  • Found at Stop 8
