Rorippa islandica (Oeder) Borbas var. hispida (Desv.) Butt. + Abbe

 

Plant Description:

  • Many-branched, bristly-stemmed mustard growing up to 60 cm tall
  • Leaves are highly dissected; lower leaves are stalked, and upper leaves have no stalk and are less dissected
  • Small, yellow flowers
  • Plant is edible: can be put into salads, soups, and meat dishes for flavouring
  • Found at Stops 3 and 6
