Plant Description:

  • Widespread, dry prairie plant that grows from a thick, woody root; growing up to 30 cm tall
  • Rigid, sword-shaped leaves, bordered by fine hairs; leaves look like they are covered in dots
  • A very notieable, dense spike of pink-purple flowers
  • Found at Stops 1, 4, 9 and 11
